Mustio and Reschenthaler to Host 2017 Senior Citizen Wellness Expo
MOON TOWNSHIP -- Rep. Mark Mustio (R-Allegheny) and Sen. Guy Reschenthaler (R-Allegheny/Washington) will host their 2017 Senior Citizen Wellness Expo on Friday, Oct. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel, 1160 Thorn Run Road, Moon Township.

Senior citizens, their families and their caregivers will have the opportunity to meet with and obtain information from representatives of local, state, federal and nonprofit organizations who can answer questions on health care, insurance, nutrition, personal safety and much more.

Some of this year’s participants will include: PA Office of Consumer Advocate, Better Business Bureau, PA Department of Human Services, PA Fish and Boat Commission, and the PA Public Utility Commission.

Kathryn Passarelli, agent supervisor, Bureau of Consumer Protection, western regional office, will speak from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. about consumer fraud: phone calls, mail and internet (emails), charities, sweepstakes, health-care fraud, Medicaid fraud, identity theft, financial fraud and other topics.

Flu and pneumonia shots will be provided by RITEAID Pharmacy. Please call (412) 262-3780 to reserve a time. Seniors interested in receiving a flu or pneumonia shot should bring their Medicare information to the event.

This FREE Senior Citizen Wellness Expo will also feature health screenings and light refreshments.
